  • Mrs. Virginia Sibanda – Board Chairperson +

    Mrs. Virginia Sibanda – Board Chairperson Mrs Sibanda has twenty eight years of experience in banking and microfinance industry in Zimbabwe, with extensive experience in credit risk assessment and lending to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME). Her current position is CEO of VIRL Rural & Social Financial Services (Private) Limited trading as VIRL Financial Services a company that she co-founded in 2010 and she holds a Master of Business Administration Degree obtained through the University of Wales Bangor in association with Manchester Business School. Mrs Sibanda is an alumni of the International Leadership Visitors Program sponsored by USAID.She has attended the general Boulder Institute of Microfinance Program as well as the Rural and Agriculture program and has attended the Symposium for Financial Inclusion sponsored by Mastercard Foundation.Mrs Sibanda is passionate about development work.   • Mr. Morris Mpala +

    Mr. Morris Mpala Mr Morris Mpala is one of the founding members and the Managing Director at MoB Capital Private Limited. He is a holder of an Executive MBA and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Mathematics both from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He also has several certificates in Banking, Microfinance management, Treasury Management, Buying & Planning, Marketing & insurance. Morris has extensive experience in Treasury management and has worked for two pioneering banking institutions, he has served as a pension fund trustee for several years & was a trainer for treasury experts. He has exposure in insurance, manufacturing & retail. Morris has a keen interest in peri-urban to rural farming, research, development & a proponent for non-conventional thinking. He is involved in the Nambya Cultural Association for literature productions for schools, documenting & preserving Nambya culture. He is a youth mentor , statistician at heart, weekly  business analyst/columnist in The Chronicle and a natural dynamic marketing individual. After the June 2018 AGM Mr Mpala was elevated to the ZAMFI Vice Chairman position. This is in recognition of the sterling work he played as a member of the Planning and Operations Committee and the critical and strategic role the Bulawayo region plays in the overall development of the microfinance sector.   • Mrs. Mildred Chirwa +

    Mrs. Mildred Chirwa Mrs Mildred Chirwa is a banker with 17years in retail and corporate banking. She is holder of a BSc Hons in Management and Entrepreneurial Development Studies and a member of the Institute of Bankers Zimbabwe(IOBZ). Mildred has vast experience in financial services and products having joined BCC International (now CBZ Bank) in 1988 and worked in various departments before moving over to Trust Bank in 2001 as Assistant Branch Manager. She also worked for an IT company as Finance and Administration Manager before joining Hammer and Tongues Money Lenders as General Manager in 2010. Currently she is the Executive Director and enjoys changing lives through tailor made financial solutions. It is hoped that the ZAMFI board and the Association will be the better for her skills and experience. Following the June 2018 AGM, Mrs Chirwa was appointed Chairperson of the Planning and Operations Committee (POC) of the ZAMFI board. She has the exciting responsibility of overseeing the programming of the Association as well as being in charge of all the ad hoc committees of the Association. Read More
  • Mrs. Molly Dingani +

    Mrs. Molly Dingani Mrs Molly Dingani holds an MBA with Nottingham Trent University UK. She also holds a Diploma in Business Studies from the University of Zimbabwe and is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe (ICSAZ. Currently she works for CBZ Bank as the Divisional Director - Business Banking, a unit which was set up to specifically focus on the growth on the Micro and Small to Medium Enterprise sector in Zimbabwe. She has been actively involved in initiatives involving the financial inclusion of the marginalised and was the Southern Africa Chairperson and Executive Committee member of the African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (AFRACA) for the past five years until the end of 2016. She is also currently a Board Trustee of Leonard Cheshire Disability Zimbabwe.   From June 2018 Mrs Dingani is the Chairperson of the Finance and Human Resources Committee (FHRC) and using her extensive experience in banking and regional and international networks, those who know Mrs Dingani will attest that the finances of the Association are in very good hands!   • Precious Kwashirai +

    Precious Kwashirai Mrs Precious Kwashirai is a co-founder of Intercrest Capital and has been instrumental in setting up operations and finance department. She has over 20 years of experience in banking and insurance industry. Precious holds a Masters in Strategic Management from University of Chinhoyi, Bachelor of Banking and finance from University of Zimbabwe, Excutive certificate in Microfinance and Diploma in Management.She is an alumnus of the Boulder Institute of Microfinance in Rural and agriculture Finance.Mrs Kwashirai also sits on the Hope for African Communities Trust (Hact) as Treasurer an NGO that focus on facilitating transformational programmes for vulnerable African communities and also on Autism Organization Zimbabwe (AOZ) board a Private Voluntary Organistion .She was a board member of Eureka and Nyaradzo group of companies.
